A shop that has been a hairdressers for more than three decades has been given a new style, reopening this weekend as a boutique selling men’s and women’s accessories.

Fiona Nicholls has always wanted a shop and last year decided to go for it, buying an old house with a shop attached. She bought the shop in April and has completely refurbished it.

The property in Trelawney Road, Peverell, Plymouth had been a hairdressers for 30 years and is ideal for Fiona as it is opposite the entrance to Central Park – an area popular with dog walkers.

The new shop, One Four Two Lifestyle Accessories, aims to sell high quality, affordable accessories.

Fiona said: “The shop is a little dream that has come true!!

“I love the way accessories, whether they are in your home or in your wardrobe, can totally change how things look and feel. They also make lovely little gifts that can make a difference.”

The shop opens on Saturday, October 28, selling men’s and women’s accessories including handbags, wallets, purses, scarves, pashminas, hats, jewellery, candles and diffusers, luxury gift wrap and cards.

It stocks brands including Danske Smykkekunst, Sara Miller, Amilu, Visconti, Pia Rossini,Thought, Brakeburn, Powder and many others.
