Samsung unleash the A80 in India

.

With its massive notch-less screen, innovative rotating camera system and powerful processing capabilities that revolve around the Snapdragon 730G, the Samsung A80 is ready to take over the Indian market.

The newest member of the Korean giant’s A lineup was introduced to the world in April.

As usual, with all the brand’s devices, its screen is one of its strongest points.

Going with the name “New Infinity” (achieved by removing the top-notch that most new devices have, providing an immersive edge to edge visual experience), this 6´7 Super AMOLED display panel offers a resolution of 2400 x 1080 px with an aspect ratio of 20:9. In the processing department, it carries a Snapdragon 730G SoC, a powerful chipset that features an Octa-core CPU with the Adreno 618 GPU that works in two different clusters (2x 2.2 GHz, 6x 1.8GHz) for maximum efficiency.

In combination with its gorgeous display, the A80 is bringing a fantastic and innovative camera setup.

It can capture photo and video with a rotating triple camera system that carries an f/2.0, 48MP sensor, an f/2.2 8MP sensor and a 3D Time of Flight (ToF) along with LED flash.

This camera module serves as both front and rear setup. An elaborate mechanism allows a set of inbuilt motors to raise and rotate the camera so that the user can use it either way (front or back).

To feed all its robust features, the A80 has a 3700 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.

As for software, it runs Samsung’s One UI on top of Android 9 Pie, and the Connectivity options available on the smartphone are Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, 4G VoLTE, GPS and USB Type C port.

The Samsung Galaxy A80 comes in three color options Angel Gold, Ghost White, and Phantom Black
