It is the result of a partnership between Bed Bath & Beyond and Cloth & Company to uncover new designer talent with a competition at Dwell on Design 2017. From hundreds of entrants, five finalists were selected with the winner, Lauren Bencivengo chosen by a team of judges including Cloth & Company founders Christiane Lemieux, Meganne Wecker, Michael Bullard Lawrence, Jamie Derringer (Design Milk) and John Merritt, Design Director from Bed Bath & Beyond.
Bencivengo’s textiles are inspired by designs found in architecture, fashion and everyday objects, and the collection features four fabrics in six silhouettes. Retail prices for the collection range from $99 to $404.
Bed Bath & Beyond x Cloth & Company x Dwell on Design Emerging Designer Collection by Lauren Bencivengo is part of a series of collaborations for Cloth & Company. Using the latest digital printing capabilities and a made-to-order business model, the brand aims to a new standard in home design, collaborating with some of the country’s most unique and dynamic artists and influencers.
