IT’S the go-to retailer for smart, tailored work outfits, adorable kids’ clothes and statement home accessories.
But Next is now hoping to entice fashion-conscious shoppers through its doors with the launch of its luxury new designer line, Label/Mix.
The British high-street giant’s limited-edition range is a collaboration between the brand’s creative director Gemma Metheringham, and 10 carefully selected emerging designers.
Rather than joining forces with big name brands, Next is aiming to take small independent labels to an audience who wouldn’t necessarily know them.
Label/Mix has kicked off with brands such as Osman, Teatum Jones, J.Won, Whole9Yards and Rejina Pyo – a fashion pack favourite.
The first drop of the collection features 93 pieces from cosy knitwear to statement coats and party dresses – but it doesn’t come cheap.
The standout piece, a red lace dress by Whole9Yards, rings in at a staggering £399.
There are more affordable pieces with Rose And Rose knitted bobble hats at £35, and Hudson red suede court shoes priced at £135.
