IKEA
Sure, you have to assemble (most of) the furniture off of horribly drawn diagrams. And, sure, the budget-friendly construction of the pieces means they’re a better short-term solution than long-term. But Ikea can come in handy. Industry secret: To keep costs down on a high-end cabinet remodel, use the bases of Ikea cabinets. (Then get the doors custom made.) No one will ever know. 1 Ikea Way, Round Rock, (888) 888-4532, ikea.com
