Interior designers Susan Nelson and Todd Martz are collaborating on the store, a former tobacco warehouse, by searching out interesting items at national furniture shows and vintage markets as well as by working with local artisans to create new pieces.
Customers can find custom-designed tables, upholstered chairs, pillows, antiques and accessories for homes and for pets. The store includes vignettes of furnishings and accessories that can be purchased as a group or individually.

Art from established and emerging artists also will be on display. The designers also will work with customers to order a custom-designed table, fabrics and furniture. Design services, including in-home consultations, will also be offered.
The grand opening of Home on Cameron takes place Saturday and Sunday when visitors to the store have the chance to win a two-hour in-home design consultation and home decor items.
